“Felix is clearly one of the best young drivers on the planet”, said Dragon Speed team boss Elton Julian speaking to motorsport.com, “We gave him a couple of runs at the test and he has already shown his class.”
“Pairing him with Ben Hanley gives us one of the strongest line-ups to support Henrik’s first Le Mans.”
Ryo Hirakawa the Toyota development driver has also been confirmed for the second Dragon Speed car which shall run at Le Mans under the G-Drive name.
It is wonderful to see Felix making his Le Mans debut. Incredible to see him somehow manage to turn up at so many events with so many different teams driving so many different cars – Formula E, Super Formula, Indy Lights, F3, DTM, Blancpain, ADAC GT Masters, IMSA, now Le Mans, where has he not raced? He’s everywhere – the guy’s a machine.
