No, please don’t adjust anything on your monitor. Yeah, that’s actually what the 2017 Force India looks like.
“The arrival of BWT In Formula One is huge news and represents one of the most significant partnerships in our ten year history”, said Force India boss Dr. Vijay Mallya.
On one hand, we can sit here and make jokes about it all day.

It looks like a bit of a cartoon car and I’d have liked a different, more sophisticated shade of pink. Also, the BWT logo being blue over the light pink livery makes it look a bit weird. Another consideration could’ve been to paint the shark fin a different colour to make it a bit more exciting.
On the other hand, it’s a dramatic new change. Given how monotonous the colour of F1 cars has been in the past and how Force India were about to go silver, this is a welcome change. This year has a varied array of colour on the grid given McLaren’s orange, Sauber’s Blue and white, Renault’s yellow, and now Force India’s pink. Not to mention how good they’ll look for breast cancer awareness.
Then again, Force India need the budget and now have BWT onboard. That’s the bit we need to be focusing on. I’d make all my unborn children wear nothing but pink clothes for 10 years if it meant I could go racing in F1.
At the end of the day, I neither like nor dislike Force India’s new pink livery – it’s just something different, and I’m okay with that.
